Review "Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball"

Hi Everyone!  Happy New Year!  I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!  We certainly did!  It snowed here, and we got up to a white Christmas morning!  That was a wonderful surprise in the south.  It is not often we get this treat.

I like to read "holiday" books around that holiday.  I read a lot of fiction, and so I like to have a Christmas story to read during the Christmas holidays, etc.  This year, the book I chose was "Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball"  by Donita K. Paul.  I started this book Christmas afternoon, and finished it within 24 hours.  It was a great read, and a nice surprise.  The characters in the book are Christians, which I was not expecting.  The main characters are Cora Crowder and Simon Derrick.  Cora Crowder avoids contact with her disfunctional family since becoming a Christian.  She is looking forward to a quiet Christmas alone with her cat.  Simon has a lot of responsibility for his family (sister, mother, aunt, and grandfather - a multi-generational family) and wonders if he will ever find a wife who will fit in the family he has at home.  This story is about the match making that brings Cora and Simon together, by way of free tickets to a Christmas Ball.  This story is very refreshing and I believe anyone who reads it will enjoy.  You can check this book out further by clicking on the following link:
